Job Description:
Fellow positions are available in the Department of Neurosciences at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute.
The successful candidate(s) will work for Endowed Chair in Angiogenesis Professor Tatiana Byzova on a comprehensive and clinically important NIH-funded research program.
Areas of interest include:
1) role and mechanisms of innate immunity on vascular cells;
2) pathophysiological consequences of oxidative stress in neurodegeneration;
3) roles of microglia and vasculature in neuropathologies (See Dudiki et al., 2020, Nature Communications).
Candidates should have a Ph.D. and M.D. or a visiting scholar in a relevant discipline and a background in vascular biology, inflammation, and/or neuroscience.
